I will surround You with waves of worship and I will float You in the ripples of my praise- You blew wind in my sails and set me out onto the water, and now here I am, gliding my way through this ocean, in faith that You will provide me with the knowledge, understanding and strength I need, to reach my destination. My hands are high, my arms are set wide and my heart is completely, totally and utterly abandoned, solely for You. I have given up my life on the safety of land. Here I am, I am found out here, amongst wind and storm, amongst thunder and rain, battles raging- knowing that alone I am unsafe, but with You- I am entirely secure. This whole life, this self-sacrifice, I give it all to You- I surrender it all to Your name and Your ways. This place I am found, it is only temporary, a short-term holding place for my patient and willing self. Lord, when You call for Your children to rise up and walk on water; I will be be listening, living, moving and breathing entirely for You, I will hear Your call- and on that day, I will not walk on water… I will run, for You.
