You have turned my mourning into dancing. You have turned my sorrow into light. You have given me a place to which I can come, sit, listen, ask, seek, knock and find. You have removed my shadows and replaced my shame. You have lifted my burdens and ignited my hope. You have given me a faith that is greater than any doubt, any trial and any stronghold. You have raised me up, talked with me, listened to my heart, guided my spirit and gently encouraged me through the times when I felt I was alone. And though I deserved to sink and drown within an ocean of regret- You filled those very same waters with Your grace and love, and taught me how to swim. You took my clay covered feet, so dirty and worn; and replaced them with feathers- that I may be reminded of how You gently lift me through times when I am surrounded, and how Your love carries me.
