From the depths of Your fingers You called life into existence. You created colour after flower, after water after sky… My eyes find their reflection in the trickling streams and rivers, as I lean out from the edge, and the sun that You wholesomely placed in the sky, beams down upon my back. My knees rest on the luscious green grass that You, blade by blade, sewed into the ground - so that I might find richness and goodness above the soil. Father, You created a love story out of the world, that I might take but only one look and see Your heart for me. The birds singing sweetly from amongst the trees and vines, and the leaves delicately blowing amongst the wind that is Your breath.. I lay quietly, often.. and as I ponder and I search the world, I find nothing less than Your provision, it is forever abundant, flowing and growing… I am left in awe, with eyes open wide - at all You have done. Your fingerprints are everywhere, just to show me how greatly You care.. And Oh, how thankful I am that You have solidly and firmly marked My existence with Your fingers, as You moulded me and shaped me into Your child. How blessed I am to live in the knowledge of Your great love, conviction and care. That You do not leave me wavering and wafting like a flower in a windy field- but You tend to me daily.. Pruning my leaves, dusting my petals, watering my roots and shielding me from harsh winds. Thank You Father… You are my Maker, my Creator and my Gardener.
