We cover ourselves over, we dance in the shadows and hide under the misconception that in the darkness we are invisible. We wrap a blanket around us, a blanket of our fears, mistakes and failures. We take a bottle of the worlds greatest concealer; denial.. And we drink it dry. We allow it to swirl around within us- to every corner and crevice. We fill ourselves with the ideas and lies of Satan, of a self righteous motivation. We deny that we need a Saviour, we deny that without grace we will remain broken and ill within our own filth… We deny that we are weak within our own rights and our own strength. But the truth remains in that we are blessed enough in life to know that Christ is the pure, white and holy cloth, that wipes away the concealer from within us and around us. He is the water that cleanses our spirits, and washes us free from blemish or spot. He is the grace and encouragement that dries our slightly tarnished skin, and sends us on our way, with a reminder that denial is merely a concealer that He will continue to wipe away, until we no longer feel insecure and fearful in asking His forgiveness, His grace and His mercies to cover us wholly every morning. We are blessed that He is forever concerned with us. Always.
